Dolma in the pastures

This is Dolma, the protagonist of ‘Dolma and the Brokpa’, a story about a little Bhutanese girl in her rural village. Through Dolma’s eyes, we will get to see the culture and traditions of the brokpa people in Bhutan, their daily activities and shepherding life.

With this illustration I wanted to depict one of Dolma's usual chores: brewing tea for her father, who works in the yak pastures.
